Clients and deals
Clients and contacts, deals on a board by stage, calls and meetings with a next step and a due date: every agreement at hand, and the agent tells you who needs a reminder whenever you ask.
Small businesses and people who do their own selling: a few dozen clients, deals, calls and emails that must not slip.
These are examples, not the limit: your agent will build any data model your task needs.
What it is for
Clients live in an address book, deals in your head, agreements in message threads. A week later you can no longer remember whom you promised to call back or where each conversation stands.
Here every client has a card with contacts and a history of interactions, deals are on a board by stage, and every conversation has its next step with a due date. The agent logs calls from what you tell it and points out who needs a reminder.

What the agent does
You
Log a call: spoke to Tom Baker at Wheatfield Bakery, they need flour for the winter and want a proposal by Friday.
AgentCreates an interaction linked to the deal and the client and records the next step “Send a proposal”, due Friday.
ResultThe interaction is in the client’s history, the step is in the “Next steps” list.
You
Who needs a reminder?
AgentReads the open steps, compares the due dates with today and names the overdue ones, oldest first.
ResultA short list: who, about what and since when.
You
How much money is in progress right now?
AgentAdds up the open deals, leaving out won and lost ones, and separately weighted by probability.
ResultThe “Summary” tab: €8,100 in progress, €4,080 weighted by probability.
Ask your agent to make one
Copy the request and send it to your agent: it creates the workspace and fits it to you.
Create a colabro workspace “Clients and deals” from the example crm: clients, contacts, deals by stage and interactions with a next step. Fit the stages to how I sell and ask me everything that is unclear in one go.
For the agent to do it, connect it to colabro: Connect an agent.
Use this example
You can create the workspace with sample data after you sign in; you will come back to this page.
What people usually adjust
- Deal stages are the stage field of the deal type: rename them to match your sales cycle (x-labels, x-colors) and remove the ones you do not need. A client’s “Open deals” and “In progress” are all deals minus the won and lost ones (count_all − count_won − count_lost, amount_all − amount_won − amount_lost): for another closed stage (say, “On hold”) add count_… and amount_… with a where on it and subtract them the same way.
- For hiring: deals become candidates (stages “Applied”, “Phone screen”, “Interview”, “Test task”, “Offer”, “Hired”, “Rejected”), clients become vacancies, interactions become interviews; replace the amount with the expected salary.
- Where the client came from (source) is your own list of channels: ads, partners, social media.
- If two or more of you sell, add an “Owner” field to the deal.
- The sample data is fictional: delete it once you have entered your own clients.
